New Paintings Still Wet

Delivery of over forty paintings!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering my work for the up-coming "London Paintings" Exhibition at Enid Lawson Fine Art, 11 New Cavendish Street W1. Unloading completed and wrestling with the on-line parking system via Blackberry duly accomplished I took the opportunity to paint from the corner of the street on a hot and windy afternoon. I met many passers-by, some of whom lived locally, who were very interested to see someone painting "in their street" and promised to visit the show and took invitations and catalogues!

"Sandpools and Surfers"

The runnels formed by the departing tide made fascinating patterns as they wove their way across the beach at Sennen Cove. Coupled with the distant breakers and the little group of surfers I thought this made a great subject!
